Who Am I?
In my world, users come first! I take pride in ensuring that each website or application I work on provides the most user-friendly experience possible! However, after having worked as a UX designer for the better part of a decade, it is my goal to transition from being the artist to being the builder. That's why I have enrolled in Practicum's Software Engineering course with the goal of becoming a full stack engineer!
My previous work experience as a UX designer has given me invaluable knowledge that gives me an edge over other developers. Still, I’d be nowhere if not for Practicum! Their courses have gone above and beyond in providing me with real-world information and experience in the web development industry! I’m already shocked with how much I can do with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
When I’m not coding or designing, I enjoy being outside tending to the vegetables and fruits in my garden, as well as reading a good sc-fi book. But, absolutely nothing can compare to spending time with my Anglo-Nubian goat, Billy! I adopted him during a backpacking trip through Europe, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. I even started a TikTok channel documenting the shenanigans we get into!
